This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions for shipping the Sample Collection Kit to you and the secure return of your biological sample to GENOSOPHY.

1. Order Processing Time (Handling Time)

All orders are processed and prepared for shipment from our facility in Athens, Greece.

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays).

2. Kit Delivery (Outbound Shipping)

This section details the delivery of the Genosophy DNA Sample Collection Kit to your specified address.

  • Shipping Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by postal/courier services or customs processing.

  • Total Delivery Time: Total time is calculated as (Processing Time) + (Estimated Transit Time).

3. Sample Return (Inbound Shipping)

This section details the process for returning your collected biological sample to the Genosophy laboratory.

  • Return Method: The Kit includes instructions for sample submission. Simply follow the instructions to schedule a pick-up or drop off the package. The cost of return shipping is included in the total price of your test.

  • Timing: To ensure sample viability, we highly recommend returning your sample to the GENOSOPHY within 24 hours of collection. Please not that it samples should be returned Monday to Thursday.

4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International Orders)

  • International Shipments (Non-EU): Shipments outside of Greece and the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country.

  • Customer Responsibility: The recipient of an international shipment is responsible for any and all import fees, taxes, and duties. GENOSOPHY is not responsible for these charges and cannot estimate their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

5. Lost or Damaged Shipments

  • If you receive a damaged kit, please contact us immediately so we can arrange for a replacement kit to be sent to you free of charge.

  • If your kit has not arrived after 10 days past the estimated delivery window, please contact us for assistance.
